Audio Work

I’ve been working in audio since 2016 and I absolutely love it. I worked as a producer for American Public Media’s Field Work podcast, interned at WBUR’s Endless Thread podcast, and have reported and produced my own freelance radio stories. My technical skills include recording high quality audio in the field and editing and mixing stories using Audition. I also have plenty of experience writing scripts, tracking narration, booking and pre-interviewing guests, and pretty much everything else that goes into making a compelling podcast or radio story.

Getting Edgy, Field Work Podcast
American Public Media, April 2020

I was the lead producer on 10 episodes of Field Work‘s second season, including “Getting Edgy,” which looked into new technologies that keep nutrients from running off farm fields and into rivers. You won’t hear my voice in this episode, but I pre-interviewed and booked these guests, wrote the host intro scripts and questions, and coordinated the recording logistics. I also did the first round of content edits on this episode, and assembled the first draft of the mix in Audition.

You can listen to “Getting Edgy” on the Field Work website.
